What is the deeper purpose behind your work?
My purpose is to remind humanity of its innate coherence — to guide people back to the intelligence already breathing through them. My work is less about teaching something new and more about clearing the distortion so truth can be remembered. It’s not self-improvement; it’s soul restoration.
No matter how often I try to steer away from this path, life has a way of calling me back — not out of obligation, but because this work is the pulse of who I am. It moves through me as naturally as breath. I’ve witnessed countless moments where someone’s eyes soften as they finally recognize the peace that was never lost, only buried. Those moments remind me why I’m here.
This work isn’t about fixing brokenness — because no one is broken. It’s about remembering wholeness and restoring harmony where confusion once lived.
Each person I meet is a reflection of the greater whole, and every time someone awakens to their own truth, it feels as if the entire web of humanity exhales.
My role is simply to hold the lantern — to illuminate the way until others can see their own light. And though the world around us often moves in noise, fear, and illusion, I return — again and again — to this quiet calling to serve consciousness itself.
What makes your approach unique in the world of modern spirituality?
My work was born not from theory, but from living through the alchemy of my own transformation. I’ve witnessed how people crave truth yet fear it at the same time. My purpose is to help them walk that threshold with compassion and precision — not bypassing pain, but transforming it into wisdom.
Synergistic Ascension is less about following me and more about remembering your own capacity to awaken.
Why should I choose Synergistic Ascension and Maia Pollan over other spiritual guides or programs?
With over 30 years of guiding, studying, and integrating Hermetics, Buddhism, Druidic wisdom, science, and quantum principles, I bring a unique synthesis of knowledge and lived experience. Unlike programs that are either all head or all feeling, Synergistic Ascension blends insight with practical embodiment, sacred geometry, and tools that create real, lasting transformation. Choosing this work means stepping into a supportive, structured, and deeply informed path where awakening becomes not just understanding, but a lived reality.
How have I, (Maia) been guiding the Sevens since 2005, and what does it mean to be part of this lineage?
Since 2005, I’ve been guiding individuals identified as Sevens — those naturally drawn to deep self-awareness, Hermetic principles, and transformational practice. I began studying Hermeticism in elementary school and fully embody these principles in my life. By 19, I experienced a complete awakening, and I have lived my adult life as an awakened human being, stepping out of mainstream conditioning —what I call “exiting the matrix”— and returning multiple times to help others navigate both the ordinary and extraordinary aspects of life.
Being part of this lineage means joining a continuity of learning, growth, and energetic alignment, where your evolution is honored and supported. I always facilitate workshops and sessions — online or in-person — in small, manageable groups so I can be fully present with each person, offering hands-on care or guidance when needed.
Each workshop, retreat, or session adapts to the energy of the individual or group, and I bring an eclectic, eccentric, quirky, high-energy presence to meet you exactly where you are, helping you explore and integrate your path in a deeply personal and transformative way.
How do your methods help me ground myself in daily life while going through awakening or spiritual growth?
Awakening can be destabilizing without the right support. Our sessions, workshops, and retreats combine practical grounding techniques, somatic awareness, and structured reflection so that the insights you gain are embodied in your daily life. Whether it’s learning to stabilize your nervous system, create inner anchors, or integrate archetypal patterns, we ensure that spiritual growth enhances your life rather than pulls you away from it.
Why do you now only offer medicine journeys to those who have taken the 7A’s into Awareness workshop?
Between Winter 2020 and Summer 2025, I opened the doors to individuals outside of my 7A’s program — many who were struggling with the onset of covid protocols and mandates... and the weight of a changing world.
While those journeys were meaningful, I came to see that without an understanding of the Hermetic and Universal Principles, people often lacked the inner map to navigate the depths of consciousness they encountered.
The 7A’s provide that framework — a compass of awareness that helps integrate the vast and sometimes disorienting insights the medicine reveals. This isn’t about exclusion or judgment; it’s about coherence and readiness. There are many facilitators offering open public ceremonies. My work now belongs with those ready to meet the medicine through both reverence and understanding.
How does Maia’s approach differ from other spiritual programs or teachers?
My approach blends decades of study in Hermetics, Buddhism, and Druidic traditions with modern, practical applications. Plus: t’s also grounded in direct experience. I began studying Hermeticism in elementary school and was mentored in these teachings from a young age. By 19, I experienced a full awakening and have lived my entire adult life as an awakened human being.
Over the years, I’ve “stepped outside the matrix” many times... not into another world... but into another way of seeing. For me, this phrase doesn’t mean escaping a simulated universe; it means consciously stepping beyond collective conditioning, fear-based programming, and inherited belief systems to perceive life as a living, interconnected field. Each time I return, I do so with greater awareness, able to navigate everyday reality while holding that expanded perspective and in such, it allows me to guide others in doing the same.
Because of this, I don’t just teach principles; I embody them.
I always conduct workshops online or in person live and in small, manageable groups so I can be fully present with each participant, offering hands-on guidance and genuine care. Each workshop, retreat, or session is unique, adapting to the energy of the individual or group in the moment. I bring an eclectic, curious, and high-energy presence, meeting you exactly where you are and creating a safe, flexible space for real integration, experimentation, and authentic growth.
What is Maia like as a guide, and what can I expect when working with her? (who is Maia really)
Here we go... what can I share as a mini-personal insight into 'me'... that will... interest y'all as readers?
Well, I feel working with me is an experience that blends tenderness, clarity, and a playful sense of guidance. I am both soft and strong — a mirror, a riddle, and a steady presence for those walking their path of awakening.
I naturally guide through reflection and resonance, often revealing truth through gentle paradoxes or mirrored experiences that invite others to truly see themselves… sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. And that’s perfectly fine — After all, enlightenment doesn’t always come with a user manual or a mirror that says, “Objects in reflection are closer than they appear.” I’m not a comedian, just a little delightfully eccentric.
The songs that resonate most deeply with me include Fleetwood Mac’s Gypsy and She Talks to Angels by The Black Crowes — music that reflects both the intensity and the tenderness of being alive. I’ve often been described as the character in The Witch of Portobello — someone who moves through the world listening, observing, and embodying the unseen currents around us, with a hint of gypsy spirit in my approach to life and awakening.
For those who have encountered me through the Sevens, you know that I can be somewhat of a riddler: I drop hints and speak in metaphors, guide subtly and, sometimes shift my tone or energy when engaging the layers of ego.
I am always in service to awareness, with the intention of revealing deeper truths.
I’m unafraid to show my vulnerability because to me, authenticity is the truest form of strength. When judgment arises from others, I meet it with quiet discernment — noticing it as a signal, a guidepost, rather than a critique of myself. It helps me decide where to place my attention and energy, allowing the space to remain light, focused, and aligned with learning and growth.
I am deeply sensitive to the world and the people within it — an intuitive empath who reads patterns and unspoken truths, not only in others but in the spaces between words. Some say I’m a human lie detector, though it’s not about catching deception — it’s about illuminating the stories we tell ourselves that keep us small.
Though I can be chatty, light-hearted, and engaging, I am by nature a lover of silence and solitude. Often, on retreats or in-person workshops, individuals catch a glimpse of this stillness and may feel unsure how to process it — especially if they first met me as a talkative, energetic presence. In advance, let me reassure you: it is not you, nor anyone around you; it is simply me, fully present, observing the world and the moment in the quiet. This space of silence is where awareness deepens, and subtle wisdom can emerge.
My life is lived in present awareness: I process, forgive, and release each day’s experiences before sleep, awakening without attachment to yesterday’s stories — and instead — carrying forward the wisdom and lessons as subtle logs for growth. Life, to me, is a series of fleeting yet sacred moments, each one alive with meaning.
If I am carrying the subtle echoes of past experiences — moments where I’ve been harmed or hurt — it does not cloud the guidance I offer. Yes, spiritual guides get hurt and harmed too — we’re not impervious to pain, and no, we don’t come with a “superhuman immunity” badge. In fact, we often experience these moments even more deeply, because the feelings are raw, fully felt, and processed with awareness.
But when echoes of past hurts arise, I hold them with discernment, allowing the lessons to inform my presence without attachment or projection. What matters in our time together is the present space, fully devoted to your growth, reflection, and exploration.
My full awakening occurred over three decades ago — through what I can only describe as a lightning strike of consciousness (and yes… it was painful). For some, awakening unfolds gradually through practice or devotion, but for others of us, it arrives uninvited and absolute — a force that yanks you out of the dream whether you’re ready or not.
Does this make me unique? Perhaps in some ways, but there are others walking similar paths, quietly awakening around the world. I’m always open to share my experience — just ask, and I’ll gladly offer what I’ve learned along the way.
Since that moment, I have walked the full path of awakening — not once, but through several cycles of exit and return — stepping beyond the holographic dream of the so-called 'matrix' of illusion and re-entering again to live and embody deeper awareness... integrating the ineffable into human life.
These passages have taught me — awakening is one single, profound event — a lightning strike of clarity and recognition that shifts the soul forever. What unfolds afterward is not repeated awakenings, but the ongoing integration of that knowing into daily life. It is from this lived embodiment — not theory or concept — that I share and guide.
Those who walk with me can expect truth, compassion, and sometimes challenge — but always with love at its root. I don’t chase egos or debate dogmas. I walk beside those who are ready to awaken, embody, and live what they already are.
And did I mention, I have the memory of an elephant? I remember with remarkable clarity — every encounter, every word, every subtle gesture. This means my partner, family, and even close friends can never quite “sneak one by me” — yes, every little thing is remembered! It’s a skill that proves invaluable when guiding others, too, as I can recall insights shared in sessions or workshops years prior. (being around me can feel a little like living with a charmingly benevolent elephant!)
What results or experiences can I realistically expect from a session or workshop?
Every person’s journey is unique, but there are some common experiences: clarity of timing, relief from confusion, and a deeper understanding of your path. Many clients describe leaving with a renewed sense of direction, practical reflection tools, and the ability to navigate life with more steadiness and ease. You won’t get quick-fix promises or abstract theory here — instead, you’ll receive grounded guidance, embodied practices, and lasting insight that can support your daily life and your larger journey of awakening.
What makes the 7A’s into Awareness workshops foundational for those on a spiritual path?
The 7A’s into Awareness workshops provide a structured approach to exploring consciousness, self-awareness, and Hermetic principles. They lay the groundwork for understanding how your inner world influences your outer reality and give practical tools to integrate insights into daily life.
What results or transformations can participants expect from these workshops?
Participants often report a clearer sense of self, heightened awareness of patterns and choices, and the ability to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity. You’ll gain tools for ongoing transformation, not just one-time insight — practical skills to live with more conscious intention.
How do workshops like Enlightenment Beyond Purpose, Tapping Into Creativity, Lifestyle Addictions, TapIN to Creativity, and the Duality of Gender complement the awakening process?
Each workshop addresses a unique aspect of personal growth — clarifying purpose, accessing creative energy, identifying lifestyle patterns that block awareness, exploring the duality of gender, and deepening imaginative and emotional exploration. Together, they create a holistic, layered approach that supports awakening, self-mastery, and authentic expression.
The Duality of Gender workshop, in particular, helps participants understand and integrate the balance of masculine and feminine energies within themselves, offering a deeper awareness of how duality shapes personal and relational dynamics.
I conduct each session — online or in-person — in small, manageable groups, adapting to the energy of each participant and the group, bringing my eclectic, high-energy presence to meet you exactly where you are.
What does it feel like to be part of a community of Sevens exploring Hermetic Principles together?
Being part of this community is like entering a space where curiosity, depth, and authenticity are celebrated. You feel seen, understood, and encouraged, and your growth is amplified by witnessing others’ journeys and sharing experiences without judgment.
What are seasonal arcs, and how do they relate to Druidic philosophy?
The Druidic understanding of the year was not linear but circular — a wheel of continual death, rebirth, and renewal. Each season held an initiatory passage: the dark half inviting reflection, the light half awakening expression.
My work with seasonal arc mapping grew from this ancient awareness — a way of tracking the natural inner shifts that correspond to outer cycles.
Every solstice, every equinox, marks an internal threshold. As the sun moves, so does our consciousness. By mapping these arcs, we begin to live in rhythm rather than resistance — we stop forcing change and instead flow with it. Druidism teaches that when we align with these turning points, our growth becomes organic, and our awareness deepens in harmony with the natural world.
Should you wish to trace your own rhythm through the seasons — to understand how nature’s cycles reflect your path of becoming — you may book a Seasonal Arc Mapping session through the link below.

What if I already know a lot about spirituality?
Many who come to Synergistic Ascension are well-studied, fluent in spiritual concepts, and experienced in diverse practices. However, this path isn’t 'only' about collecting knowledge — it’s about living it. True growth unfolds through embodiment, through integrating wisdom into the quiet and ordinary moments of life. Transformation opens with willingness: to listen, to practice, and to meet yourself honestly.
Students often face challenges — long-held religious beliefs, rigid dogmas, spiritual “shoulds,” cultural expectations, or personal stories about who they are. Awakening tends to burst those bubbles — sometimes gently, sometimes like a surprise pie in the face — inviting freedom, clarity, and deeper presence.
I work best with those ready to move beyond theory, to embody their evolution, and to practice consistently. This isn’t a space for flirting with spirituality, debating what you know, or proving the ego right. It’s for those willing to walk the path with presence, humility, and honesty.
When you choose to work with me, you’re not just scheduling a session; you’re entering a sacred agreement — one rooted in trust, presence, and mutual respect. When we meet, I bring my full presence, energy, and devotion.
My rates are intentionally accessible because I believe in service — but true service requires reciprocity. If resistance arises or guidance is avoided, I step back gently, allowing space for those ready to receive transformation.
This work is about awakening, not convincing. It’s about living wisdom, not defending it. And if you’re ready to walk the path, I’m here to walk beside you with heart, integrity, and steadfast commitment.
Why is embodiment such an essential part of your teachings?
Because wisdom that stays in the mind never transforms the life. Embodiment is what turns knowledge into knowing. It is the living application of the principles — the body becoming the altar through which spirit expresses. Without embodiment, awakening remains theory; with it, every breath becomes ceremony.
What does it mean to manifest consciously?
To manifest consciously is to move from “I want” to “I am.” You stop manipulating outcomes and start living in alignment with your essence. You stop asking the universe to give you things and start asking, “What wants to be expressed through me?”
Manifestation then becomes devotion: the art of living so aligned that life itself becomes your creation. Conscious manifestation isn’t about control, it’s about coherence. It’s when your soul, mind, and body are speaking the same language.
At that point, manifestation becomes effortless because you are the frequency of what you desire. It’s not you asking the universe to bring it to you, it’s life expressing itself through you.
